Chaplain James and Sarah Penn
(Good News Jail and Prison Ministry)
The Penn’s minister to prisoners in the Prince George’s County Correctional Center where James serves as Chaplain. James coordinates the ministries at the Center and also trains volunteers who come in to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible studies, worship services, spiritual counseling, books and materials, and aftercare support.
Please pray that James and Sarah would rely on Jesus as they serve together with a team of volunteers from area churches; for James as he coordinates programs and trains volunteers. Pray for the prisoners who desperately need Jesus and are very aware of their lack of righteousness.
